A few years ago ordering a cocktail was just an excuse to ask for Sex on the Beach, but we've all grown up a bit since then. Your host for this masterclass will be a top mixologist (who used to be called a cocktail barman, back in the days when drinking was simple). He'll start you off with an introduction to the equipment and techniques of mixology, and of course explain the lingo. Then it's on to the best bit - mixing and tasting six cocktails, all chosen to develop your skills. You'll also get a cocktail game to take home (sounds like a thinly disguised drinking game to us). Additionally you will be issued with vouchers (valid up to six months) to allow you to come back another day and explore Vinopolis at your own pace. It's a whole centre dedicated to the world of wine and classic drinks, with lots to learn and lots more to drink - you can sample five wines and a whisky. All in all a pretty good way to spend a day.
